Very close to 64, south of the Speedway on the west side of the road.  Was still there at 7:31pm on Wednesday June 13th.

Wow! Very easily an all-time record late date for the Toledo area.

Nieces and my two girls were able to see it along with my brother-in-law who has been pestering me to find him an owl. Well I didn’t, but my godmother Linda Skrzyniecki spotted it on her way home and let me know where it was. The bird still had some barring but looks pretty shabby. I can only speculate as to how healthy it is, but it did not appear like a terribly strong bird.

Still present this morning - flying around a bit and quite healthy acting!

Saw the Snowy Owl this evening (June 16) at 6:05 P.M., sitting in a plowed field along US 24 about 1/2 mile north of the OH 64 interchange.  Really incredible.

Oops, sorry, that date should be June 15, not 16.    Maybe I was thinking ahead.

Around 6:00am this morning (6/16/18) I'm pretty sure I spotted the owl sitting on a blue road sign approximately 1/2 to 1 mile west of Exit 67 (Fallen Timbers) in Lucas County. I was headed towards Toledo and the owl was on the right side of the road on that sign. I am blown away a Snowy owl could still be here in Ohio in mid-June. I hope he/she is okay.
