Had 17 species of warblers at Magee today including Cerulean and Prairie. Heard reports of 5 more species including Worm-eating, Blue-winged and Yellow-throated Warblers. I didn't try to count birds but there had to be a couple hundred Myrtle Warblers, lots of Cape May, Nashville, Palm and Black-throated Green Warblers along with several Orange-crowned Warblers. Odd that there were no Hooded Warblers with this group of overflight species. Others include Eastern Kingbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Least Flycatcher, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Warbling Vireo.

A late, quick stop at Metzger Marsh had many of the same species.
