Nothing unusual was on today's list of birds I found near Lake Erie, but there was some decent stuff. At and near ONWR, many hundreds of Tundra swans were on the move, a couple of Common loons were overhead, and a Rough-legged hawk was on the east boundary of the refuge. Maumee Bay State Park had about a dozen Horned grebes , a Lesser black-backed gull, and 15 Snow buntings.
Back home in Whitehouse, I had a couple more groups totaling about 150 Tundra swans.
