   Amidst the 40 plus Juncos at my feeders today is beautiful Oregon Race.  The brown on the back and sides is quite striking.

Also some 30 Grackles descended on the group, scaring off the smaller birds.  They fed for a while then moved on.  I have not seen a Grackle here all winter.
