  Even though he was resting on a rock at water level he had nothing in his claws. Maybe he had already eaten since he seemed pretty relaxed on the rock.

Good job. I believeThat Peregrine was looking for "hard to search for" food along the Maumee River.

  I spotted a Peregrine on a small rock outcropping (looking north) from the Perrysburg Orleans park, parking lot. He stayed on the one rock the entire time I was there. Some other goodies along the Maumee today were greater Black Backed Gull, 10 Common Goldeneye, Black Duck, Common Mergansers at a couple different locations (20+), and a lone Bufflehead. Lots of the usual ring bill, herring, mallard and Canada's.
