I first noticed a couple at about 3pm but they really didn't get the show on until around 5pm.

Were the SEOWs seen during the day or later in the evening?

There were quite a few raptors patrolling the fields of Lawrence Woods State Nature Preserve and surrounding area yesterday.

American Kestrel
Merlin
Red Tailed Hawk
Rough Legged Hawk
Northern Harrier
Short-eared Owl (at least 6)

The best viewing was off of Township Road 190 where there was a SE Owl perched on a post only 5 feet off the road.

Lawrence Woods is south of Kenton in Hardin County.
