Sam, and others... yes the northbirding.com site is no more ...but, there is a nice new one that has replaced it...http://www.mibirdingnetwork.com/

many of the same people covering the same general things.

Looks like that Michigan site is well-run and active.  I will add Dayton after Sam moves there and determines there is opportunity to add a section for that community.

My email box is clogged by list serv's. Is it really worth it?

Not a location, but how about a separate board for posting photos of PEOPLE of rarebird.org?
